Fenton Glass Crystal Satin Whimsey Bird Hippo Hippopotamus Figurine

Here's a beautiful crystal satin glass hippo figurine made from the original Fenton Glass mold by Mosser Glass, a small family run business in Ohio that is well known for their high quality art glass. It was hand painted and offered as a limited edition, gift shop exclusive and only 26 were made in this design. The design is called Whimsey Bird and the hippo is painted in a natural grey color with subtle green tones near the base and it has pretty blue eyes. There is green foliage and a pink flower and a stylized whimsical blue bird on the front. The hippo has a charming toothy grin. So cute! It stands approximately 3" tall by 2.5" wide and is in great condition with no chips, cracks or damage. It is signed by Fenton artist Kim Barley and numbered #18/26. It would make a fabulous gift for your favorite hippo lover or yourself!
